Once you have purchased a ticket, this will be sent out to you a few weeks before the ball. 

Non dining guests are invited to join the ball at 10:30pm. These are limited and will not be available on the door.

This is a strictly 18 and over event therefore please bring ID with you.

London’s most established ball

Elegant crowds sweep in, impeccably dressed in black tie and gorgeous dresses. The chandeliers light up the place settings prepared carefully for the delicious meal ahead while people take their chances in the auction and raffle. By the end of an unforgettable night, you and a thousand other guests will have eaten, chatted, drunk, danced and raised most of the funds for the charity's activities over the coming year. This is the White Knights Ball, London’s longest running, most established ball of its size.

The Order of Malta Volunteers was founded in 1974 with two core aims:

• To give people with disabilities opportunities for experiences away from their day to day lives.
• To give young people (17 - 29) the experience of caring for people with disabilties, of volunteering and of organising these activities and events.

Today these core aims have given rise to a range of activities run every year, from two week camps in the Middle East to weekends in Norfolk. We run around 7 - 8 activities every year which range in size from 250 people to 20. The vast majority combine three key elements:

Care

Our volunteers take on a large proportion of the physical care needs of our disabled guests. We provide training and work in teams, but your first time is a step learning curve. This element is central to the OMV and is such an unique and humbling experience and is the reason that so many of our volunteers return year after year. 

Spiritual

We are a Catholic organisation and work hard to ensure that everyone has the space to think about and discuss their faith. We are incredibly fortunate to have a incrediblly supportive and inspiring chaplaincy team, led by Fr James Hood, who help us along every step of the way.

Social

The OMV is a very social group of people and many volunteers form close friendships, often for life. During activities we have informal social events and organised parties for both volunteers and guests.  There are also opportunities to catch up with volunteers, old and new, with our monthly mass, various drinks events and of course, our famous White Knights Ball!
